Dr. Forghani originally began his education in California, where he attended California State University and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry. From there, he earned his master’s in biomedical science from Midwestern University in Arizona. He then traveled to New York to attend the New York University College of Dentistry and complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. This was followed by doing his advanced specialty training in endodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A DENTIST?

During this time, he received extensive training on the use of advanced endodontic techniques in both surgical and non-surgical procedures. In addition to being a practicing endodontist in Livingston, Dr. Forghani currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Postgraduate Endodontics at NYU, and he travels periodically with the global outreach program to provide dental care to the underprivileged in Maine, Grenada, Mexico, and Nepal. Aside from work, Dr. Forghani enjoys playing soccer, biking, playing music, and spending time with his family.
