What to expect
We combine EdgePRO® laser cleaning with 3D CBCT imaging and high-magnification ZEISS microscopes to make sure nothing gets missed.
Before treatment begins, we map your canal system and identify any areas of concern. The EdgePRO® laser tip is then guided into the prepared canal, where pulses of light energy reach deep into the canal walls to clear out bacteria and debris that instruments alone can leave behind.
Once the canals are thoroughly cleaned, they are sealed with biocompatible material to prevent reinfection. Your general dentist will then place a crown to protect and restore the tooth.
The EdgePRO® laser goes beyond what standard cleaning can achieve. It reaches into curved, narrow, and branching canals where bacteria tend to hide, removing up to 99% of bacteria commonly found in the root canal system.
